dcblack.co.uk is the personal business site of David Black, operating as a sole trader. David Black is the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
Contact form submissions (your name, email address, message, and the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through), newsletter signups where you have opted in, and privacy-friendly first-party page analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not store your IP address in a readable form.
How it's used
To reply to your enquiry, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to understand which pages are read. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to enquiries, and consent for the newsletter. Data is never sold or shared with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted at any time by emailing [email protected]. Newsletter emails include a one-click unsubscribe link. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
